Delivering the best IT network for students while saving a new school $1M+ in construction costs
Chris Henshaw

The modern learning environment needs to be adaptable to the modern student who has their own learning device, is using AI, and who has a greater concern with the environment and personal safety. The school building should be a place that enhances their ability to learn advanced technologies without putting them behind school systems with larger budgets. In order to achieve all these goals without breaking the construction budget, convergence is necessary. The same power that is brought to your lights, should be able to carry power to your IT systems. The same cable that’s bringing power to your lights and IT systems, should be able to carry unlimited amounts of data that never has to be replaced as technology upgrades. This infrastructure should be able to do more, while costing less to install.

Adeline Labor

Presentation Abstract:
The purpose of this presentation is to inform IT decision makers of how to recover their business in hours vs. days or weeks, using IBM's Flashsystem and cyber resiliency offerings.
Presentation Description:
The industry average time to recover from a cyber-attack is 23 days. Can you afford that type of down time? Not likely...
In today's landscape where ransomware and cyber-attacks have become all too common, many companies talk about data protection but are using slow, antiquated recovery methods. IBM's unique architecture not only identifies the attack, but helps deliver faster recovery times, helping you be confident you can recover your IT environment from cyber-attacks when (not if) they happen.

Ransomware, The Threat is REAL!-SysCloud
Anatoly Dubrouvney, Regional Sales Director.
Ransomware poses a severe threat to both Google Workspace and Microsoft Office 365 users. These popular cloud-based productivity suites are lucrative targets for cybercriminals due to the vast amounts of sensitive data they store. Ransomware attacks typically involve malware that encrypts files, rendering them inaccessible until a ransom is paid.

In Google Workspace and Office 365, the threat manifests through phishing emails, malicious attachments, or compromised credentials. Once inside, ransomware can spread rapidly, paralyzing entire organizations. Recovery from such attacks can be costly and time-consuming.

To mitigate this risk, users must prioritize security best practices, including regular backups, multi-factor authentication, and employee training. Both Google and Microsoft also continuously update their security features, emphasizing the importance of staying up-to-date to protect against evolving ransomware threats.
