Jamie Nutt has been a teacher for 25 years. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Education at Kansas State University. After moving to Texas, she began her career as a fourth grade teacher. She earned her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2004. Jamie taught first, third, fourth and fifth grades before transitioning to a middle school position. As a middle school science teacher, she became STEM Certified and worked as department lead while teaching sixth and seventh grade science. Jamie completed her Administration certification with Lamar University in 2017. She currently serves as a Digital Learning Specialist in Carrollton- Farmers Branch ISD where she serves as Project Lead for Innovation Academy and serves several elementary campuses.
